Fraudulent Or Phishing Websites
Normally, fraudulent, scam or phishing websites are not harmful by themselves and may contain just regular advertisements. The main goal of such websites is to trick the visitor into doing something that brings money to the website owner or to steal some valuable information, such as the number of the visitors' credit card. For example, scam websites may encourage the user to click on paid advertisements, buy software that is, actually, free, pay for a service that is useless or free and so on.
If you found yourself on one of the fraudulent, scam or phishing websites, just close it.
